I miss the connection between Ren and Finn in this volume. They seemed more like a cohesive if dysfunctional team in volume 1.
The herky, jerky transitions make for a disconcerting story making the pacing uneven. Some chapters have little context so that they seem out of order/place. Others a so short and serve only to setup upcoming scenes, but otherwise provide little to the overall story. The are a lot of plot holes and few answers and despite it’s length it still felt incomplete.
